Why choose our 9 Hole Pegboard for Occupational Therapy?

1. All Wood Box - Lightweight, Easy to Clean

  • Both board and pegs are made of natural wood which is flat, smooth, and can be cleaned with common disinfectants. Just need to let the air dry and save it in a cool place for better storage.
  • The wood box at less than 7" wide and weighing about 1 lb, is also so lightweight and small that it can be carried and stored anywhere with ease.

2. Excellent Construction - Easy to Use

The 9-hole pegboard is designed for ease of use.

There are two sides while it is open and used for occupational therapy. The one side is a sliding panel with a circular storage compartment that can be used for pegs storage. The other side provides 9 standard holes for improving finger dexterity and reaction speed. All the pegs can be easily grasped, inserted into, and removed from the board. After the finger training, while the pegboard needs to be closed, the board can be locked to hold the pegs without loss securely.

3. Apply for Finger Training, Occupational Therapy

The nine-hole pegboard is designed for fine motor skill tests and improvements of hands and fingers. Ideal for evaluating the quality of movement and speed in a person’s hand and fingers, improving the fine motor functions and finger dexterity, and increasing finger reaction speed. It is preferred to use as a finger training assistant with a timer for accurate assessment.

When and who uses the 9-hole pegboard?

  • The fine motor pegboard is suitable for hand rehabilitation after a stroke or other disease.
  • The wooden pegboard is one of the best important finger test tools for occupational therapists, physical therapists, certified hand therapists, doctors, other medical professionals, etc. And it has been widely used in rehab clinics and hospitals.

What is the nine-hole peg test?

The 9-hole peg test is the standard for monitoring arm and hand function in clinical trials, measuring finger dexterity and reaction speed in patients' hands. Our nine-hole pegboard is dedicated to providing patients a chance to test and monitor their own finger condition or disease progression at home without relying on their neurologist, physical therapists, or doctors all the time.
